Crawfish Boil: Be sure and get your tickets in advance for the crawfish boil, from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 at Raves Club, 6816 Commerce. $25, available through Eventbrite.com
Check in will be between 6:30 and 7 p.m. Bring a copy of receipt which will be exchanged for a color-coded wristband.
There will be live music, food trucks and a vendors market.
German Pub: The German restaurant, at 9530 Viscount, Suite 2K, will have a Mardi Gras party Saturday with $10 crawfish plates and featuring Shiner Bock Draft beer. Restaurant opens at 11 a.m.
Mardi Gras in Cloudcroft: The Cloudcroft Chamber of Commerce will bring a little New Orleans to the mountain community with a family-oriented celebration Friday through Sunday, Feb. 21-23, on Burro-bon Street (Burro Avenue).
The tent opens at 2 p.m. Friday. Events will include a children’s parade, entertainment and a Cajun cooking contest at 6 p.m. and movie at the pavilion at 8 p.m. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
Bourbon Street on Cincinnati Street: The annual Mardi Gras celebration will take place on Tuesday in Kern Place. Organizers said Cincinnati Street will be closed to vehicle traffic for the outdoor celebration which will include food, live outdoor music, drink specials and beads.
